Excel Bowling Score Calculator
Here is an excel calculator which i created in order to compute your bowling score, frame by frame.
-Bowling Calc-
Note: thanks to those who helped me find some bugs on this. I updated the sheet and reposted.
Update: I have modified the spreadsheet so that now all of the formulas are contained in the calculating cell, instead of hidden rows as it was before. If one wanted to make a copy of the calculator to track multiple games, people, etc., All that they need to do is highlight the score box and Copy and Paste. New version is _v2

Sorry to say this as I was really pleased when I found this on the net but there is an error in one of the cells. On your sheet it is not possible to get a score of 299, it is a real score that is obtained if you stike the whole game except for a 9 on the last throw. I think the change would need to be in cell S5 - and I think it needs to =IF(S3=10,(10+U3+V3),S3)
Hey Stiffo, thanks for your help debugging! It is always appreciated. I modified the sheet with your suggestion.
Thanks for the great spreadsheet ... saved me from spending the time to do it! I believe there's an error in cell U4, as a strike in frame 10 doesn't include the 3rd throw. I believe ..IF(V3=10...) should be ..IF(U3=10...).
Kyle,
Thanks so much for this. It is much appreciated!
Kyle, I'm just curious, I tried copying this to a format that I could keep track of an entire team. I coach a High School Bowling team and I'm trying to find a way to track a match to keep track of errors and save them in a way that I can show on the computer. Right now I made a sheet that I hand write in during the match but it would be nice to come back and enter them in.
Hey Lon, you might have an issue copying unless you unhide row 5, which i used for calculations. I did this in order to keep the calculation more workable in each cell, however i am thinking of releasing a new version with it combined. In addition i have been wanting to expand this to allow multiple game/ person score tracking and easy duplication of the template. Look for this in the next couple weeks.
